Philosophy
Why we exist.
Technology should serve the business — not the other way around.
We started LuxConsults because we saw too many businesses struggling with technology that almost fit. Software that was close to right but couldn't quite do what was needed. Systems that didn't connect. Manual work that should have been automated years ago. Reporting that took days to compile instead of appearing in real time.
Most businesses don't need a giant consulting firm. They don't need layers of account managers and project managers between them and the people building the solution. They need someone who understands how their business actually works, who can identify what's really broken, and who can build or connect the right technology without selling them things they don't need.
That's us. We keep the team small, the relationships direct, and the focus on solving the actual problem — not on selling software.
Principle
Hard on problems.
We believe good technology work requires asking uncomfortable questions. Why are people doing this manually? Why does this system exist? Why are these two systems not connected? Why are we building this at all? Those questions can be hard. We ask them because the alternative — building the wrong thing — is harder.
Soft on people.
The people dealing with the problem shouldn't have to be. We don't blame teams for bad systems. We don't make people feel stupid for not understanding technology. And we don't protect a solution just because we already spent time building it. The pressure belongs on the problem.
Small by design
Small by design.
We intentionally keep LuxConsults small. That lets us stay close to the work and the people we're doing it for. You work directly with the people designing and building your solution — not through layers of account management. The right project matters more than another project. Sometimes we're the right partner. Sometimes we're not. We'll tell you which one we think it is.
Beliefs
What we believe.
01
Technology should reduce friction, not create it.
02
Small teams can solve large problems.
03
Clients deserve direct access to the people doing the work.
04
Not every problem needs custom software.
05
Good consulting means being willing to say 'don't build that.'
06
Depth matters more than volume.
Consultation
Let's see if we're a fit.
Tell us what you're trying to accomplish. We'll start with the problem, not a package.
